The waterproofing of bathrooms and loggias

The waterproofing of bathrooms and balconies is carried out using two-component materials from Ardex, such as Ardex 8+9L, Primer P51, and SK-12 reinforcing tape for corners. The process begins with careful preparation of the surfaces to be waterproofed, where the area is leveled and dust is removed. Next, the corners are handled, and a liquid layer is applied with a brush. After 48 hours of drying, a water test is conducted: the waterproofed surface is filled with water and left for 24 hours. Upon successful completion of the test, tile installation begins. This procedure ensures effective protection against moisture and water, guaranteeing durability and longevity for the bathroom and balcony areas.
